Cruise description:
Navy comrades watch out! Take your chance and embark on an impressive journey aboard the traditional sailing ship Iris.
From Kiel it goes with a stopover on Heligoland, among other places, to the naval city of Wilhelmshaven. The ideal trip to follow in the footsteps of the Navy, because Wilhelmshaven is considered the place of origin and development of the German Navy.
But even if you have nothing to do with the Navy, the sailing trip is a great experience. Because it could hardly be more varied!
From Kiel it goes through the NOK towards Helgoland, the only offshore island in Germany. Although Heligoland is part of the German economic area, it is not part of the customs area of the Union, nor are German excise duties levied.
We continue on our way to Wilhelmshaven. The German Navy was founded here more than 150 years ago and one or the other former Navy comrade will have already arrived in this port.
During the sailing trip you prepare your meals together with your fellow sailors and meanwhile have time to talk about the experiences of the day in good company.
You spend the nights in one of the five comfortable double cabins, in which you quickly get to know each other will feel comfortable.
